There are times we can all use inspiration and motivation. I’ve been through many desperate times. However, I kept moving. You can’t stand still and move forward at the same time. You must Go Ahead! Here’s an excerpt from my autobiograpy. I hope it works for you too.
10. Thriving Amid Adversity
Notwithstanding ending on a high note, the airline decided to terminate our relationship and the possibilities to discuss two more seasons were exhausted. Supported by Mr. Lodewijk and my lawyer, I took legal steps towards ALM. Unfortunately, my request was denied and the judge ruled in favor of ALM. That was another lost battle. Disheartened, I left the courts empty handed.
Another year had now passed and a new one was about to begin. At age forty-one, two years after the divorce, I made up the balance sheet of my life. I was unmarried, a mother, blessed with two precious children, and I enjoyed the support of the best parents and grandparents in the world. I experienced a number of failures. At the same time I gained wisdom and knowledge from adversity at life’s university. My life was mentally and spiritually enriched, and humbled with countless blessings.
