On November 11, 2022, Tirzah Libert presented her book, “The Vision for Swaen Village: From Ruins to Richness” (in Papiamento: “Kurá Swaen – di Ruina pa Rikesa”). This illustrated, bilingual book outlines a crucial revitalization project for the Swaen neighborhood. The presentation took place at Flor di Bario in Fleur de Marie, Willemstad, Curaçao.

The project of Tirzah gained an even deeper meaning thanks to the significant support of her family, friends, and especially her children, Bellandonna R. Pierre and François H. Pierre. Not only were they a key motivation for the author in this community revitalization effort, but they were also present both physically and virtually during the book’s presentation, adding a personal and emotional touch to the event.
